The RT-B77 HELB is currently the most advanced and most powerful personal locator beacon (PLB) available on the market for man overboard (MOB) emergencies. The RT-B77 is designed for automatic activation upon contact with water or inflation of the wearer’s life jacket and can also be activated manually.
This PLB also features a second frequency that can be used for testing or training purposes. Transmission of a dedicated ID and simple control of system and maintenance data by means of an IrDA interface are important benefits for operators of larger fleets. Autotest functions and status reports are announced by the system's speaker to guarantee high availability.
The RT-B77 suits very well at oil & gas plaforms for personal protecting at high risk jobs like scaffolding, welding & painting jobs. The RT-B77 fits perfect for intergration in helicopter survivelsuits and lifejackets
Water resistant up to 50 m for diving applications
Automatic activation upon contact with water (can be disabled)
Programmable beacon ID for transmission
Functional and operating status by LED and built-in speaker
Voice output at RF and speaker
PLL design for variable selection for TEST or training frequency
Microprocessor controlled power management for long battery life
Live tested at the NorthSea with 7-9Bf and 5-6m waveheight!
RT-100 PLB emergency alarm receiver "Crewguard"
The RT-100 Emergency Receiver (also marketed under the name “CrewGuard ”) monitors the international emergency frequency 121.500 MHz. The receiver triggers an acoustic alarm whenever a signal is received on this frequency. At the same time, a relay activates external alarm devices.
In the “selective squelch” mode, an alarm is triggered only if the signal is transmitted by an emergency beacon (ELT, PLB or EPIRB ). This eliminates false alarms caused by radio frequency interference or radio traffic from aircraft that use this frequency as a calling frequency.
The RT-100 suits very well at oil & gas platforms for protecting high risk jobs like scaffolding, welding & painting jobs.
- External alarm output for integration in general alarm systems. - Standard Test and Exercise frequency build in for training.
RT-202 is Compact, robust no-nonsense MOB (man overboard) direction finder for the emergency frequency 121.500 MHz. Permits localization of crew members in the water or assistance of crew of other vessels . Suitable for installation on board vessels or landside vehicles.
The RT-202 is weatherresistant and is often used at oil & gas industries at sea in the MOB boats. - External alarm output. - Ruggedized molded housing. Diecast alminium enclosure with flange as option. - Standard Test and Exercise frequency build in for training.
The RT-300 is a Universal dual-band direction finder system for localization of marine band radio signals as well as emergency signals at 121.500 MHz. SAR direction finder and navigation aid for commercial vessels. - Supports a true-heading compass input for true radio bearings . - Features a memory display reading for the (true) bearings. - Bearings are very accurate due cummulative direction technique. - External digital NMEA -183 bearing output for integration in electronic chart systems. - Standard Test and Exercise frequency build in for training. - Waterresistant & flushmount. - Ruggedized diecast enclosure.
The RT-500 is a universal multi-band direction finder system optimized for SAR missions at sea. Operates on four frequency bands and scans international emergency frequencies. Also processes Cospas-Sarsat EPIRB signals. - Fully remote operatable
