SHIPTRON, founded in 1987 as HYDRO-TECH moved to the worlds centre of traditional sailing: Enkhuizen in 1990. From then the former technical service provider started to grow together with the expanding traditional sailing fleet of Holland. Shiptron fullfilled the professional demands of these large sailing ships and gained knowledge we now use for all sailors that take their ship seriously, whether it is used on lifeboats, megayachts or on board a 12 meter yacht that is on an ocean voyage.

We can provide you with the knowledge and products that are hard to find in this satellite-communication era. We share our knowledge with shipyards, designers, technicians and retailers.
